Featuring  the mixed-media photographs of artist John Folsom (American, b. 1967) and running from January 22 to April 18, 2010 the Gibbes brings us "Lure of the Lowcountry".

This wonderful exhibition features scenery of the Lowcountry and surrounding region including Edisto Island, SC and Cumberland Island, GA.

Use of sepia hues depicting hauntingly warm creeks and weeping oaks, Folsom’s photographic paintings illicit a sense of wonder and excitement. This exhibition in one of the gems awaiting visitors who stumble upon Downtown Charleston's premiere collection of art.
